I can now confirm that I have found another legitimate, non-scamming survey company: GlobalTestMarket (to visit their site and sign up, click either the banner above or the one at the end of this article). I have been a member here for a few months and recently earned enough “Market Points” to redeem for payment. Although it took a few weeks to arrive, I did receive the check:
Interestingly, when they sent out this particular batch of checks, some sort of system error occurred that caused the checks to be printed with a slightly lower amount of Market Points than what the original redemption requests had stated. In my case, I had actually redeemed for 1050 Market Points (cash value = $52.50), but the check got processed with only 1019 points. Since the difference was so small, I didn’t bother challenging it; I figured that might be some kind of check fee deduction that I hadn’t seen in the fine print of the terms of service.
However, a few days after receiving the check, I got an email from them that acknowledged the error. They even gave me extra points that were more than the difference between the check and redemption amounts, so this is favorable news:
Dear MR. KARL ERFURT,
You recently redeemed MarketPoints from your GlobalTestMarket account. A check has been mailed to you, but due to an error in our processing system, we did not send you the correct amount.
For your patience, we have added 100 bonus MarketPoints to your remaining GlobalTestMarket account balance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We appreciate your understanding, and look forward to your continued involvement in the GlobalTestMarket community.
The GlobalTestMarket Team
Meanwhile, they have also started a monthly newsletter and set up a blog, so it seems that the company is expanding nicely and providing more opportunities for communication with members about the market research survey business. The newsletter explains some of their latest developments below:

Earn MarketPoints with SurveyShuttle You have probably noticed that when you screen out of a survey, SurveyShuttle looks for more surveys for you to take. However, did you know that you still receive MarketPoints for each survey you screen out of? That means that if SurveyShuttle takes you to ten surveys in a matter of minutes, you could still make 50 MarketPoints or more even if you screen out of all ten.
How does SurveyShuttle work?
SurveyShuttle looks for available surveys that match your demographics.
If it finds a new survey, you can take the survey right away. If you don’t want to take another one, you won’t be penalized for leaving.
SurveyShuttle won’t always find a new survey for you, but it should appear more often than not.
Introducing the GlobalTestMarket Blog: http://blog.globaltestmarket.com/
How does the market research process work? What is the status of redemption checks? Head on over to the new GlobalTestMarket Blog, the place where members can see the latest announcements, read great articles about taking online surveys and more.
Check back often to make sure you’re always up to date!
A message from Gabriella McNabb
These are exciting times at GlobalTestMarket! While there are still some kinks to work out, we are making progress in making GlobalTestMarket faster, easier and more member friendly:
-SurveyShuttle enables us to take you to new surveys faster, which earns you more MarketPoints
-The new English website means better navigation and quicker access to customer support
-Other new features are coming soon
As we continue to improve your member experience, we are also looking into ways to improve the quality of your membership. Some of you have expressed concern over recent account closures. We’d like to assure you that these account closures were done in the best interests of our legitimate members. Individuals who manipulate the system are expelled from our panel because their activity negatively impacts market research, our clients and the amount of surveys that honest members like you receive.
We hope you understand our position, and once again we want to ensure you that the satisfaction of our members is our number one priority.
Garth seeing Halos
Last time we saw Garth, he was sleep deprived waiting in line for Transformers while dressed as Optimus Prime. Now, as far as we know, he hasn’t slept in three weeks: Garth + Xbox 360 + Halo 3 is apparently not a good combination.
Still, when he’s not playing his Xbox 360, he somehow manages to find time to devote to GlobalTestMarket members, from improving your security and privacy to making sure you get more and more open surveys. We’re sort of worried, though, because we’re pretty sure he’s becoming a little too connected to the game (the picture says it all).
More surveys. More MarketPoints. More money.
You can receive more surveys and make more MarketPoints by simply filling out your profile surveys and keeping them up to date. Don’t miss out on this easy way to earn more!

GlobalTestMarket members revealed
We recently asked our members a variety of questions to get to know you a little better, using our very own InstantSurvey software: http://recp.rm05.net/ctt?kn=6&m=888104&r=
NTczMDE3NTM2MQS2&b=2&j=OTQ3NjMzMzYS1&mt=1. Here are just a few of the results:
-Not surprisingly, 22% of members surveyed said soccer was their favorite sport. 11% said tennis, while 15% said they don’t like to play sports at all.
-18% of members have never left their home country, while 10% have visited 11 or more. 22% have visited one or two other countries.
-23% of members say they’ve already purchased or plan to purchase an Apple iPhone, whereas a whopping 69% said they had no interest at this time, or that they’d never buy one.
-15% of members say they’ve gone skydiving, while a disturbing 11% say they don’t remember. Uh-oh.
If you have a business, you can run any customer, employee or partner feedback surveys just like this for a low cost (you can also sign up for a 30-day trial).
