During the middle of last month, I had the chance to revisit Quick Rewards, an old get-paid-to program that I had almost forgotten about last year when I had problems with confirming my new email address with them. Fortunately, I was able to get the confirmation problem resolved, after which I promptly began earning money again by completing various clicks, offers, and surveys. Due in part to my new Firefox extension that I discovered while optimizing earnings for Treasure Trooper, I was able to increase my earnings surprisingly quickly. Last night, having surpassed the $40 mark, I decided to go ahead and put in a payment request before continuing with the day’s offers. By the time I woke up today, the payment message from PayPal was already in my inbox:
Interestingly, the program does not seem to have any minimum payment threshold for PayPal, although I remember that there was a $10 minimum when I originally joined. There are also no limits on the specific amount that you can redeem for (no incremental requirements) or even the number of payment requests that you can make. Here are the relevant sections from the current FAQ:
When can I cash out?
You may cash out any time you like when you reach the required amount for a specific redemption. Paypal payments have no minimum amounts. Most other gift certificates require you to have a minimum of $5 balance to redeem for them. Please check with the terms and conditions for special Paypal Requirements for Canadian residents and US residents with non-verified Paypal accounts.
What can I cash out for?
You can redeem your balance for cash in Paypal, point transfers to other websites, a variety of different online/offline store gift certificates, or advertisement money and other selections.
How often can I cash out?
You can cash out any time you like for Paypal or any time when you reach a certain amount to request some kind of redemption.
Do I need to cash out my full balance at once?
No. You may cash out for as much as you like.
How long does it take for my cash out to be processed?
Paypal payments are usually sent within 12-48 hours. Gift certificates are usually ordered on the same day as you request them. If the gift certificate is an e-gift certificate you will receive them in your QR account email within a few hours. If the gift certificates are going to be sent to your house it generally takes 2-7 days for them to arrive. Prizes from the prize shop can take anywhere from 2 days to 6 weeks to arrive depending on availability of the prize.
Perhaps the best part about this particular program is that there is no obligation to actually pay anything for any of the offers. I managed to rack up $40 of earnings in about one month by strictly sticking to the free offers and surveys, most of which took very little time to complete. If you do happen to be one of those people who likes to do a lot of shopping online, it is possible to make purchases through a wide variety of mainstream retailers and receive a certain percentage of your purchase price back as earnings at Quick Rewards. Also, if you have a credit card, you will be able to complete some of the higher-paying offers (I was not able to do any of these because I have no credit card capabilities). Some of the offers in this category require payment of a small shipping fee in order to receive product samples; however, your reward amount almost always exceeds this cost, so you still make money overall.
As mentioned above, some of my recent success with Quick Rewards and other similar programs is due to new Firefox extension that I discovered called Cookie Culler. This handy little application allows to clear your cookies, but instead of having to clear them all at once, you can protect specific cookies that you want to keep. This is important for retaining information at sites you use frequently (for example, login information for your Google accounts) so that you do not have to go through the hassle of retyping passwords or other details every time you want to do some of the offers. By using this extension, you can quickly clear any old cookies that might affect your approval rates for the offers while still keeping all of your important login details intact.
Another thing that I would recommend when completing offers or surveys is some type of form filling software such as Roboform. This is a major time saver because almost all of the offers will require you to fill out some sort of registration form that includes basic information such as name, address, email address, city, state, zip code, and the like. By using a form filler program, you can often fill in these forms with a single click without having to repeatedly type in the same details for each offer.
A very useful tip that I discovered while using Roboform is that if you press Alt-= (that is, hold down the Alt key and press the equal sign), it will automatically select the “No” option for pages that have yes/no radio button choices. You can also fill in all check boxes on a page with the same command, while pressing Alt– (hold down the Alt key and press the minus sign) will then deselect all of the check boxes. These little tips will save you much annoyance and stress over the long run and allow to earn money more quickly without wasting your time with repetitive tasks.
