If you would like to submit articles for publication here at Karlonia.com, you may do so by using this form. This is also the place where you can send messages to the webmaster (such as advertising offers, suggestions for site improvements, and the like) that you do not want to post in the public comment section.
Basic rules for article submission:
- Articles must be originally written by you (no duplicate content). Note that you CAN use articles that you have previously written as long as they have not been published on other web pages that have been indexed by search engines.
- Article length should be a minimum of 250 words (approximately one double-spaced typed page). There is no maximum limit, although you may want split articles that are longer than 2000 words into two or more posts to maximize your exposure.
- Your article should contain a title and body text. For maximum search engine traffic, you can use bum marketing SEO guidelines to keyword-target your articles and obtain good rankings for your page after it is published.
- Articles can be written on a variety of topics but should be generally informational in nature (for example, tips, guidelines, strategies, how-to, reviews, etc.). They should not promote “black hat” practices or contain links to dubious sites.
- Each article may include one free backlink to your site. This is typically placed in a “resource box” or “bio box” which comprises the last paragraph of your article. Although direct affiliate links are not allowed (search engines do not seem to like these), you can link to a landing page on your site to promote your product(s).
- Minor spelling and grammatical mistakes are OK as long as the content is of a sufficient quality; however, the webmaster reserves the right to correct errors upon proofreading so that your content will not reflect poorly on either you or this website. This type of proofreading and copyediting will not substantially change your content.
